The mission of the Division of Urology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center is to deliver the highest quality of healthcare for patients with urological diseases referred from the Middle East region and Europe. In doing so, the Division has maintained its role in clinical education and research by providing a first class residency program that spans for four years following two years of surgical residency. Excellence in basic and clinical research is our third goal ensuring the dissemination of knowledge throughout the region.

The Division has set its standards along guidelines that are currently followed by American hospitals and urological institutes and has maintained close academic association with external programs particularly in North America.
