Plan for the operation and management of the proposed Al Barraj Hospital Members of the Health Services Administration Department participated
in preparing guidelines for managing the physical, financial and human
resources at the proposed 50-bed hospital. This included five areas of
Hospital Management: administrative management, information systems, finance,
human resources and technology. The Department was involved in preparing
the guidelines for the operation of the proposed Al Barraj Hospital and
health services. (Supported by the Zakat Fund of Dar Al Fatwa.)
Training of selected health care professionals Members of the Health Services Administration Department participated
in the training of two medical doctors in hospital administration (as observers)
between March-August 1998 and the training of three Palestinian Red Crescent
Society staff in the application of information technology in healthcare
between March- August 1999. (Supported by the Italian Embassy.)
