The Communications Manager is directly responsible for the operation, inspection, planned maintenance, repairs, as well as for planning development and improvements of the following:

Telephone System:
The telephone system is operated from the telephone switchboard which is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with shift supervisors and the require number of telephone operators.

Radio Paging:
This system allows one-way radio connection with persons holding a receiver. This can be done by direct paging via the telephone instrument or through the paging operator. Also alphanumeric messages can be sent via special consoles or via the computer.

This division also supports connection of the above utilities to new minor and capital construction projects.
