We are proud of our focus on teaching and education in the Pediatrics Residency Program at AUBMC. Teamwork between the chairman, the program director, the program coordinator and the faculty members provides excellent opportunities for our trainees.

Through regular conferences, special workshops and seminars, we provide comprehensive education in pediatrics for today’s physician, including clinical skill, communication, system awareness, practice management and evidence-based medicine.

We strike a balance between primary care and specialty care, as well as clinical care and research. The result is a broad experience that allows each resident to develop into an accomplished pediatrician. Our program depends on active, enthusiastic learners who strive to learn and contribute to the program as medicine progresses in the 21st century. We enjoy a dynamic, collaborative environment that puts teamwork in education, clinical care and research into action. We teach residents to become master clinicians, advocates for children and lifelong learners.
