CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The MEMA scientific committee calls for abstracts in all areas of medicine.

  The abstracts will be peer reviewed for quality of research and scientific content.
  Accepted abstracts will be scheduled as oral or poster presentations.
  Eligible abstracts include original research, educational or clinical work.
  Please indicate in your submission form which format you prefer.
  The final decision concerning the format will be made by the scientific committee.
  Posters will be set up in a special hall, on 1.5m by 1.5m bulletin boards.

CONTENT
Abstracts must be based on results that have not or will not be published before May 2004.

FORMAT

Use a short and concise title that indicates the content of the abstract.

Authors' names should be typed in capital letters, using first initial and full last name; the name of the author presenting the paper should be underlined.

Authors should be listed by institution and country.

Abstracts must contain a concise statement of the research using a structured format not exceeding 200 words, including background, methods, results and conclusion.

Please send as text attachment and follow instructions as to content and format.

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is February 20, 2004.

DISPOSITION
Abstract disposition notices as well as the format of the presentation will be sent by March 20, 2004 to the corresponding author via e-mail.

A prize will be awarded for the best abstract submitted by a physician-in-training
