As part of their education, AUB students will have access to the University Libraries (Jafet and the branch libraries -Science & Agriculture and Engineering & Architecture). Many of the University Libraries' resources are accessible on and off campus

The University Libraries hold over half a million printed volumes, 3000 Periodical titles subscriptions of which 182 are in Arabic. The virtual collections, with special strengths in the pure sciences, humanities and engineering include approximately 22,000 titles within over 100 electronic databases.

The Libraries have one of the largest and most complete collections of Arabic newspapers covering the 19th and 20th centuries. To this must be added the vast array of primary and secondary material available on microfilm and microfiche and in a multiplicity of databases which are accessible to all AUB students. The University Libraries also own over 1300 manuscripts, overwhelmingly concerned with matters pertaining to Islam and other aspects of Middle Eastern life and history.
