Configuring your browser - Netscape

If you are not able to connect to the database off-campus, check the following settings:

1. From your browser's main menu, select Edit, and click on Preferences
2. Under Advanced, choose Proxies
3. On the right-hand side window, click the option: Direct Connection to the Internet. All other options should be un-checked.
4. Click OK
5. Restart your browser
6. Click on the database, you will be prompted to enter your AUB username and password (this is your AUBnet user ID = your email username without the @aub.edu.lb, and the password).
