Honorary Doctorates in Humane Letters…Exhibit

Jafet Library is holding a display about the five recipients of Honorary Degrees in Humane Letters conferred by AUB. Highlights from their lives and works are on view.
The recipients for 2006 are:

Nasser Al-Kharafi (Presidentof the giant Kuwaiti business conglomerate M.A. Kharafi Group)
Mohammad Yunus (Bangladeshi founder of the microcredit institution, Grameen Bank)
Robert Fisk (internationally renowned journalist covering Lebanon and the Middle East)
Zaha Hadid (distinguished Iraqi-born architect)
Said Khoury (president of the Athens-based Consolidated Contractors International (CCC))

The duration of the exhibit is from June 26 until July 14, 2006 during library hours.
The location is the Exhibition Gallery on the first floor.
