Any violation
of the below instructions is a violation of the publisher copyrights and
is a breach of the terms and conditions of the License Agreements signed
by AUB. Online access, to most of the Electronic Resources,
is licensed to AUB for non-commercial use, and for restricted use by the
University Authorized Users e.g. faculty, staff, students, and persons
with legal access to the library’s collections.
Authorized Access
Authorized Users should not make AUB Electronic Resources accessible to
anyone outside AUB Authorized User Group, whether by telephone link or
by permitting access through a terminal or computer, or by any means or
arrangement.
Permitted Use
The Authorized User can access the Electronic Resources online and can:
- Search.
- Make a hard copy of the output of the search. All copyrights and other
notices on the printed articles must be respected.
- Download search results to hard disk or diskette. All copyrights and
other notices on the printed articles must be respected.
- Share the search results with non authorized users, provided such
sharing is for the purpose of scholarly communication or educational
use and not for commercial profit.
Prohibitions
Altering, recompiling, systematic copying, reselling, redistributing,
publishing or republishing –beyond the brief quotations permitted
under the copyright laws- of any search results, in any form or medium,
is prohibited.
