Service Quality Initiative - PROCESS IMPROVEMENT


  1. Purchasing
    The introduction of the departmental low value order, whereby departments can get, on their own, their purchases up to $200.

  2. Registration
    The Offices of the Registrar and the Service Quality & Organizational Improvement have been conducting a service quality project that pertains to the Student's Registration Process at AUB. This process had been divided into several sub-processes, each of which is represented by a flowchart that relates to a particular work unit (Admissions, Faculties, Comptroller, Financial Aid, IT, Benefits, Registrar's, and Student Affairs).

  3. Campus Bookstore
    The presidentially-appointed Campus Bookstore Committee was assigned the tasks of reviewing performance, investigating allegations of impropriety, and recommending to the administration the continuance, discontinuance or modification of AUB's existing contract with Malik's Bookstore.   4. Faculty Orientation
    Work includes coordination between new faculty and the various service units at AUB.

  5. In Progress
    Advising, Physical Plant Review, Libraries Review, Financial Aid Review, Financial Management System, Clearance Process Review.
