The Hostler Center - Student Affairs has an opening for the position of AQUATIC SPECIALIST, in grade 10, at a salary of L.L.1,047,910.- per month. I. Basic Functions:

Supervises and maintains the safety of the aquatic area, including the adjacent changing areas during his/ her shift and must be physically present on the deck of the pool when it is in use. Ensures that all functions of the pool are operating in accordance with predetermined policy and reports discrepancies immediately to the Hostler Center Supervisor.

II. Minimum Requirements:

a.  Bachelor's degree plus two years experience in a similar position OR Completion of secondary (13 years) education plus five years experience in a similar position.
b.  Certification as a lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, CPR and First Aid required; AED preferred
c.  Good English communication skills are preferred.
d.  Knowledge of instructional techniques and training technology required.
e.  Excellent public relations skills are required.
f.  Willingness to work varying hours with some evenings and weekends required.
