The primary goal of the Division of General Surgery is to enhance the mission of the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut. The Division of General Surgery has a long standing tradition of excellence in patient care, education and research in Lebanon and across the region in the Middle East. It strives to:
