May 3, 2006: Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research (LNCSR) Presentation at AUB

On May 3, 2006 the Office of Grants and Contracts invited Dr. Mouïn Hamzeh, Secretary General of the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research (LNCSR) for a talk on the launching of the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP). The presentation (5MB pdf, opens in new window) introduced the new research and integrated programs of STIP, the Council’s strategic objectives, and research priorities. Dr. Hamzeh also provided detailed statistical information on the numbers of programs accepted in 2005, the distribution of funds by discipline, the distribution of funds by institution.
