  1. Does the Executive Health Program conflict with my primary care physician?
The Executive Health Program does not conflict with, nor does it replace, your primary care physician. The Executive Health checkup is a comprehensive preventive and diagnostic exam, which emphasizes healthy lifestyles, risk factor management and changing personal behavior. Each person leaves the program with recommendations for health improvement and maintenance, plans to manage specific problems and exercise, stress management, and nutrition plans. A copy of your health plan and test results may be sent to your physician, upon your request, and may then become a part of your permanent medical record. Our physicians remain available for future consultations, if needed.

  2. Are your programs covered by health insurance?
The Executive Health Program does not file insurance for the basic package. Payment is required at the time of visit unless previous arrangements have been made with your company for billing. Additional testing may or may not be covered by insurance. We encourage you to contact your health insurance provider and ask about any possible coverage for the additional tests.  Please note that the Executive Health Program operates through company and private contracts, and we do not bill or collect from any health insurance plan, nor do we investigate the type of coverage that a patient may hold or what services may or may not be covered by the health care plan. If you are interested, we can provide bills that you may use to file claims with your health plan. If the health plan covers any of the services received in the Executive Health Program, the health plan should make payment directly to you, not the Executive Health & Travel Center who rendered services under the program.

  3. How far in advance do I need to schedule my appointment?
You will need to schedule your check-up at least two weeks in advance. Prior to scheduling an appointment, the executive will first be asked to complete a confidential medical questionnaire. The questionnaire will be reviewed by an executive health physician who will recommend the appropriate package. A schedule of needed tests will be prepared and the executive will be contacted to set an appointment.

  9. Why is there an estimated bill on the date of service?
The invoice prepared on the day of your visit is an estimate of the services received. Your final invoice may reflect additional services requested by your physician and/or cancellations of any services deemed unnecessary after a thorough physical exam.

  12. Should I bring a pair of glasses for after the eye examination?
Yes, your eyes will be dilated in order to perform a complete ophthalmologic examination. You will not be able to wear your contacts and should plan to bring your glasses. For about two to three hours after this, your eyes will be sensitive to the light, and you may also prefer to wear sunglasses if leaving the Medical Center.
