Dr. Attal has a Medicine Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Sana’a University and Obtained a PhD degree in Reproductive Health from the University of Liverpool. Dr. Attal worked with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and UNICEF, Yemen. She is going back to join the teaching staff at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Sana’a medical school. She is member of the Yemeni Family Care Association (YFCA) and the International Society of Quality in Health Care (ISQUA). Main research interests: Reproductive Health and Health System Research.

The study describes and compares the quality of birth care provided in the public and private hospitals in Sana’a city, Yemen taking in consideration women’s and professionals’ points of views.
