IPEC Lebanon was established in 2000 as a result of the signing of a Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Labur and the ILO Regional Office in Beirut. The program, which targets exploited girls and boys under the age of 18, aims to rehabilitate and remove children from the worst forms of child labor in Lebanon, as well as to prevent others from becoming victims. As a part of the implementation process, IPEC Lebanon coordinates with various stakeholders including civil society groups, organizations and governmental bodies.
