| Mission |
The mission of the Center for Research on Population and Health (CRPH) is to strengthen and enrich population and health research at AUB, and to support a program of interdisciplinary research on issues at the intersection of population and health. |
Research working groups plan, organize, and implement research activities to build capacity in the field of population and health. Current research working groups include the Regional Changing Childbirth Group and the Urban Health Research Group. |
The CRPH provides infrastructure and research support and services to faculty affiliates in undertaking research projects, including substantial field support and outreach activities. This is done through the administration of grant activities, logistical, and organizational support for research meetings, workshops and seminars, maintenance of the computer lab for research analysis, data processing support, data archive, library and documentation, and dissemination of findings through publications and electronic media. The monthly research seminar series has been institutionalized with known visiting and local speakers from various disciplines presenting research findings to the AUB academic community on various relevant topics. |
The center provides researchers with access to resources and technical support in terms of: Computing and Analysis, Data and Information Training, Development and Administrative Support. |
