E-mail is the most well known and
frequently used Internet tool. In the Academic environment e-mail
can facilitate and increase the interaction between students and
instructors. It can be used to send and receive class assignments,
distribute class communications, and provide exam grades. In foreign
language classes
it allows students to communicate with native speakers in other
countries, practice
communicating in a foreign language, and learn about other cultures.
Microsoft Outlook
is an e-mail management tool that allows easy exchange manipulation, and organization of messages in
your computer.
Outlook allows creation of mail rules and archiving of messages. In
addition, Outlook offers features such as the 'calendar,' 'journal,'
and 'sticky notes', which help you keep track of
your daily appointments and tasks.
