  Description and Uses

E-mail
is the most well known and frequently used Internet tool.  In the Academic environment e-mail can facilitate and increase the interaction between students and instructors.  It can be used to send and receive class assignments, distribute class communications, and provide exam grades.  In foreign language classes it allows students to communicate with native speakers in other countries, practice communicating in a foreign language, and learn about other cultures.
Eudora is a simple-to-use e-mail management system which can be  downloaded from the Internet for free.  It allows users to receive, sort,  and send e-mail.  Other features include an address book, customized signatures, and separate mail folders.
