Networking Computers and People
Purpose of the Plan
Networking Computers and People outlines the computing directions pursued
by the Personal Computing & Networking Services Division of the Computer
Center in collaboration with the user community over the next two years.
This plan is actually a collection of three interlinked and complementory
strategic plans carried out under the auspices of Mr. George Tomey, Vice-
President for Administration. The subject plans are:
This plan is only the beginning of an exchange of information with the user community. The Computer Center and PCNS wants the collaboration to
continue through the Ad-Hoc committee on AUB's long term computing needs
and individual and departmental contacts. The computing environment is
complex and we need to hear about campus computing needs and priorities.
