INSTRUCTOR/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS
IN THE DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY MEDICINE
The Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at The American University of Beirut had undergone a major restructuring in the last 2 years. The service operations of the University Health Services and Family Medicine Private Practice were merged with the Residency Training Program in a new integrated facility expected to serve more than 20,000 persons. The Department is seeking full-time academic Family Physicians in the rank of instructor or assistant professor who are either American or Arab Board Certified or Eligible. Their responsibilities will include mostly outpatient primary care in the new facility, resident supervision, and teaching of medical students. Previous clinical and health services research and information technology skills will constitute an asset in selection. Successful candidates will be appointed at the appropriate academic rank and track.
