Competition for Young Arab Inventors and Innovators

 

The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is launching the second season of "Stars of Science", the World Wide Competition for Young Arab Inventors and Innovators. The deadline for submitting application is November 25, 2009.

Dear AUB alumni

The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is launching the second season of "Stars of Science", the World Wide Competition for Young Arab Inventors and Innovators.
The "Stars of Science" is a docu-reality TV program that gives the chance to all young Arab Inventors to turn their ideas into a great invention and a chance to win a prize of 300,000$.
We wish to invite graduates of the American University of Beirut to apply for the program. Note that the grand prize winner of last year's, Season 1 of Stars of Science was the AUB Student Bassam Jalgha.
The initial selection will take place throughout November 2009.
Selected candidates will be invited to meet with a panel of experts in their country to present their projects. The deadline for submitting application forms is November 25, 2009.
