GA Admission Procedures
Step 1
Applicants submit their applications to the Admissions Office
Step 2
Admission
Office sends complete applications to the Dean's Office +the Recommendation Form
to be filled by the departments
Step 3
Academic
Officer (AO) forwards these applications to the corresponding departments
Step 4
Departments send back applications with a summary list of all acceptedand
rejected applicants. Each accepted application should be accompanied by the 2
Graduateadmission requirements Forms + recommendation for Graduate Assistantship
( if any)
Step 5
AO passes
departmental recommendations on to the GC, and GA's recommendations to the Dean
Step 6
GC makes
its decisions based on departmental recommendations
Step 7
AO communicates the results of the GC meetings and the Dean's decision on
Graduate assistantship to the Admissions Office and the departments
Step 8
Admissions
Office conveys the results to the Registrar and the applicants
