Inanna Hamati-Ataya
Short Biography
Dr. Inanna Hamati-Ataya is an Assistant Professor of Political
Theory in the PSPA Department. She received her Masters and Ph.D (Doctorat) in
Political Science from the University of Paris 1, France. She is currently
writing a book on IR Theory, entitled "Knowing and Judging in IR Theory: Realism
and the Axiological Dilemma", which explores the articulation between cognitive
and evaluative discourse in three paradigmatic contributions to Realism. Her
current research focuses on the role of values and language in the structuration
of political order, and on the tensions between academic and public discourse.
