George Bitar
Short Biography
He received his BA in 1971 and his MA in
1977, both in Public Administration, from AUB. He served for twenty years as
Consultant to the public sector of Lebanon and the Arab World in the
development, execution, and evaluation of national science and research policy.
From 1988 on, he teaches the following specializations: organization theory,
state theory and public bureaucracy, public budgeting, epistemology and theory
of public administration and management, non-profit management. His present
activities, in addition to his teaching, focus primarily on human capital
building, organization capital improvement, and the enhancement of
organizational IT capabilities in the service of human resource management.
